Why is being certified important?
ISO standards contribute to the development, manufacturing and supply of products and services more efficient, safer and cleaner. On top of that, ISO Certification gives a standardized dimension to the company. Being ISO certified gives an organization a better capability to compete in a global market. This is due to the fact that ISO certification is a benchmark that reputable companies/organization should achieve. For example, ISO 9001 is an international reference for quality requirements in business to business dealings.
