Under the WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH (CONFINED SPACES) REGULATIONS 2009, before any person enters or works in a confined space, it shall be the duty of his responsible person to appoint a person whom the responsible person reasonably believes is competent to carry out the duties of a confined space safety assessor, as a confined space safety assessor for the confined space.

| About the course : |
SDF subsidy is $252.00 (Normal), $452.52(Enhanced SDF for SME). SRP Approved.
Individuals who are require to conduct safety checks on confined space and to ensure that he is familiarize with the hazards associated with such entry into the confined space and the precautions to be observed.
Trainees are required to bring along Scientific Calculator for the Course/Exam

| Entry Requirements |
1)3 GCE O level passes or equivalent with a credit in Physic or Chemistry; OR
2)Candidates without O level science to attend Bridging course or NTC 2 in chemical process; OR
3)ESS WPLN 5 or N level English and Mathematics Grade 5 & WSH skills
And knowledge equivalent to Certificate in WSH (or BCSS certificate); OR
4) ESS WPLN 5 or N level English and Mathematics Grade 5 & 3 years relevant experience in supervising safety and health works.(Proof of experience must be submitted together with application).
