Singapore Quality Class (SQC)

The Singapore Quality Class (SQC) is birthed three years after the launched of the Singapore Quality Award (SQA). The SQA is the highest quality award in Singapore modeled after the renowned Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award in the United States of America and benchmarked against European Quality award and the Australian Business Excellence Award. The framework for the SQA helps organizations build up a world class competitive model in managing their organisation that is based on a set of ten core values such as leadership management, strategic planning, individual and organizational learning, performance and operational management, etc.

As SQA is a very prestigious national award, not many organisations will have the ability to reach this pinnacle of recognition. SQC was developed as a tool by SPRING Singapore to assist organisations to adopt the framework of SQA and make progressive improvements so as to develop a culture of continuous improvements and cycles of learning. It is thus a building block that organization and use in their pursuit for business excellence.
