Legal Requirement

An approved scaffold contractor shall employ or engage only scaffold supervisors, scaffold erectors and suspended scaffold (“gondola”) riggers who have undergone a course of  training approved by the Chief Inspector

Every suspended scaffold (“gondola”) shall be erected, installed, re-positioned, altered or dismantled by a suspended scaffold (“gondola”) rigger who has undergone a course of training approved by the Commissioner

Training Objectives

This course is to train persons who wish to be trained and employed as Suspended Scaffold (“Gondola”) Riggers to erect, install, re-position, dismantle or alter suspended scaffolds (“Gondola”).
