Legal Requirement
An approved scaffold contractor shall employ or engage only scaffold supervisors, scaffold erectors and suspended scaffold riggers who have undergone a course of training approved by the Chief Inspector
The scaffold supervisor (for both scaffold and suspended scaffolds) shall be a person who has undergone a course of training approved by the Chief Inspector
Training Objectives
This course is to train persons who wish to act as Suspended Scaffold Supervisors to supervise the erection, installation, re-positioning, dismantling or alteration of a suspended scaffold
